INTERSTELLAR

Nothing is impossible – but that is negative and negativity is estranged to love.
Everything is possible.
They say there is a limit – a threshold beyond which we cannot go – but what if we do? To enter a blackhole is to get “spaghettied,” says physics, but I say to Physic – prove it!
So what even do we even fucking know? I guess we know that there are three dimensions – but what of time and then what of gravity? Interstellar contends that there are 5 dimensions – and I agree with Nolan’s contention – and they can all be measured. Length x width x depth = a number. The tic-toc of the clock – the erosion of a mountain – you are born to ultimately die over the course of time. The sun has Earth in her gravity and we have the moon, but the moon pulls back and we see it in the tides. Therefore I exert gravity on my coffee cup and the cup exerts some of that gravity back on me – nothing can be found in a vacuum – nothing stands alone in isolation, unadulterated – unless there’s a sixth dimension or something more than the quantifiable. And Interstellar and I contend just that.
To push past gravity is to transcend it all – and we can do this in love. Remember – nothing is impossible, and know that everything is possible with love. Hallmark really nailed it with that one – but you laugh because it’s true. Grandmas lift cars, kids survive in rubble, lost explorers emerge from Antartica, I guy cuts his arm off to live, people endure prison – justly or unjustly, Neo stops bullets, Cooper enters a blackhole – and we kinda see it everyday. Strange things happen over the power of love – because love is the 6th dimension. Love lords over all the rest. Love transcends all – even gravity because love is attraction – like gravity on steroids – and that is why love reigns supreme over the universe and everything in it.
It doesn’t make sense – you’re right because it can’t make sense. Love is the ultimate superpower – and we all know that superpowers don’t make sense. When you enter love – gravity doesn’t matter, time stops – depth, width, length melt under the weight of love. And unlike the rest of the dimensions, love is a choice and it is free and available to us all the time. It is up to you to rage against the dying of the light – and the light is love.
Everything is called to leave their place of birth – we see baby birds fall from their nests to learn to fly and leave. We tell kids all the time to get out of the house and make something of yourself. And I believe it the call of the human race – the ultimate culmination of evolution – to leave the home planet in search of another home. That is probably what the aliens thought when they planted the obelisk on the moon and not the Earth in 2001 Space Odyssey. The reward is out there – because it is easy to stay here. And for the race of a planet who is devouring their home and themselves – what higher act of love than to stretch their highest to find another place to call home for the sake of themselves, and more so, like the shoulders of giants we stand on that has brought us to this ultimate culmination, our children – the future giants. And what better embodiment of the best thing in one of the best movies with little dialogue so music, the language of love, can reign?
